“The talent of five AWARD WINNING SINGER-SONGWRITERS and an AWARD WINNING BAND channeling the harmonies of Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young and the instrumentation of Neil Young's bands: Crazy Horse, Buffalo Springfield, the Stray Gators and the International Harvesters; performing their interpretations of Neil Young's classic hits and rare gems.”

The built in recognition and appeal of Neil Young's songs bring in large audiences from all areas and all age groups!

The Forever Young Band was originally conceived after Mark Cutler, John Fuzek and Dan Lilley performed the Neil Young classic “Powderfinger” as a group set closer for a RI Songwriters Association show at Stone Soup Coffeehouse in Pawtucket, RI (March 2006). Fuzek gathered Lilley and Cutler again and added Becky Chace and Pete Vendettuoli to present a show of all Neil Young music. The show was so successful that they were asked to do it again and again. Forever Young is a group of performers that pay tribute to the SONGS of Neil Young. No one in the band tries to imitate Neil Young. In addition to Cutler, Fuzek, Lilley, Chace and Vendettuoli, John Amitrano and Phil Hicks were added to the band in December of 2007 to give the show a "Crazy Horse" kind of feel. Original drummer, Phil Hicks passed away in Jan 2010. Leo Dumas was added to the line-up a few months later. Amy Bedard joined the band in April 2011 to add vocals, violin, guitar and keyboard. Becky Chace left the band in 2014 to concentrate on her own musical career and school. Leo Dumas and Mark Cutler left the band in December of 2015. Gary St. Germain (of Rizz, Original Jelly Roll Soul and Violin River) signed on as drummer in Jan of 2016 and Forever Young streamlined into a six piece ensemble. All of the musicians performing in Forever Young are staples of the Rhode Island music scene and veterans of many national and regional tours. In addition, they are all fans and have been influenced by the music of Neil Young. Drawing on the 40+ year career of Neil Young; the show highlights many of Young’s popular songs and a few of the more obscure numbers. The show is presented with the full six-piece band doing both the acoustic and electric songs that Neil Young is famous for. The show is reminiscent of the "Four Way Street" live album recorded by Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young and of Neil Young with his many back-up bands. Forever Young has played many sold out shows in its ten year career and has amassed a loyal group of fans!

“Forever Young combines superb musicianship, great arrangements and a well
chosen set list of hits and rarities in finely saluting one of rock’s legends. They are also a lot of fun”
~ Patrick Norton, President, Narrows Center for the Arts; Fall River, MA

“Forever Young isn't your average cover band or tribute band...the group consists of Rhode Island's most prolific and best known songwriters”
~ Rick Massimo, The Providence Journal

"I just saw Neil at PPAC. I must say the 2 set, 3 1/2 hour Forever Young show, at the Met, was "better then the real thing". More than enough hits/standards for the casual folks and plenty of deeper stuff for the ardent fans, like me."
~Bob Evon Host of "Too Hot Classic Zone" on WBLQ & Music Writer for Get Magazine
