Coming off a productive and successful 2015, legendary singer ART GARFUNKEL has laid out plans for a busy 2016, with tour dates starting later this month. Kicking off January 26 in Birmingham, AL with stops also in Atlanta and Nashville, GARFUNKEL will perform a handful of shows before heading out on an eight-night run through Europe.

ART GARFUNKEL's tour, with guitarist Tab Laven and often keyboard star Cliff Carter, encompasses his solo hits, Simon & Garfunkel songs, cuts from his favorite songwriters--Jimmy Webb, Randy Newman and George Gershwin--and parts of his forthcoming autobiography (a page of which was recently revealed on his website, which you can see here.)

2015 was a banner year for GARFUNKEL, as he toured heavily and continued work on his book. He did 50 shows in 13 countries, including his first show in Korea, two runs through Europe including London's famed Royal Albert Hall, an historic packed show at Bloomfield Stadium in Tel Aviv, Israel and a sold-out show at New York's Carnegie Hall. He also took time to sit in on the "Jimmy Fallon Show," where he performed "Can't Feel My Face/Sound of Silence" with "Black Simon & Garfunkel." After selling out Los Angeles' Wiltern Theatre, he had a wide-ranging interview on the "Tavis Smiley Show," (see it here).

You can dig into ART’s website, where he chronicles--in order--every book he has read since 1968 (all 1,229 of them--can you believe it!), his 60 favorite songs of all time, acting credits, poetry and discography:

Blessed with what the New York Times described as a “beautiful countertenor,” singer ART GARFUNKEL has made an indelible mark on the music world as both a solo artist and half of the unrivaled Simon & Garfunkel. He has also enjoyed a successful film career, published a book of prose poems and released 12 original solo albums, the most recent being SOME ENCHANTED EVENING. Then, in 2012, he most proudly released his life's body of work, a 2-CD compendium, THE SINGER. Art and his beautiful wife, actress Kathryn Luce Garfunkel, have two sons, 25 year-old Arthur Junior--a magnificent singer in his own right--and 10 year-old Beau Daniel.
